McCrea Heating and Air Conditioning Services

Had our somewhat belated Spring Inspection today. We've been w/McCrea since '05 and have always been more than satisfied with the service, and the technicians that have come to our home. By the way, I like the 'window approach' (8 to 1, e.g.) and the 30 minute advance call. The tech who came to our home today, Matt Marfinetz, did, I believe, the most thorough inspection of our system that has ever been done. His cordiallity was exceeded only by his professionalism, as he went about the various tasks and tests. He provided commentary on what he was doing and how our system was fairing with respect to the varioius tests being performed. While checking the outside unit, Matt commented on the age of our compressor and pointed to a factor one of the tests was showing which related to its performance. He mentioned how a "Kick Start" unit would contribute to prolonging the life of the compressor; but, he did not push it - which I appreciated! As he went about the other tasks and tests, I had time to think and, since he had a "Kick Start" unit on his truck, I had him install it. If possible, I will request Matt back again for the Fall Inspection and beyond. It's a pleasure dealing with clean, courteous, and timely professionals.

Technican Mark Baeber was absolutely wonderful in fixing our a/c unit. He was thorough, polite, conscientious and professional. He was very patient with me and answered my (many) questions that I had. Thank you, McCrea Heating and Air conditioning and Mr. Baeber on your excellence service.

8-16-12 I don't usually take the time to go online and express my appreciation of either a company or person for professional and kind service rendered. Mainly because it is rare these days to actually receive such treatment. And because it is rare, I felt I needed to give praise where it is deserved. Thank you McCrea for being so responsive to my family's needs in sending a service man out within a day after I called for help. But mostly I was impressed by the gentleman that was sent. I know him only as George. George was very personable and professional. He took the time to explain to me how the air conditioning system works which helped me to understand the symptoms the unit was displaying, which in turn fostered a feeling of trust that he was there to get it running in the quickest and lease expensive way and not to sell me on a new unit that I may or may not need. So thank you George for your help yesterday. I do appreciate it. And McCrea, take care care of George. Employee's such as George are hard to come by. Frank S
